"Marvel's Jessica Jones" executive producer elissa Rosenberg recently pointed out that heavy drinking is currently a problem for the title role played by Krysten Ritter. However, she implied that the drinking problem may not be a big issue in the upcoming Season 2.

"It is certainly an element in her life (and) it's one of her issues," Entertainment Weekly quoted Rosenberg as saying. "I don't know if I'm interested in taking on alcoholism, but then again, you don't know."

In the first season's episode 13 titled "AKA Smile," Jessica and Luke Cage (Mike Colter) for help from somebody in the neighbourhood. For a major test of powers against Jessica, Kilgrave (David Tennant) spent time to prepare.

"AKA Smile" was directed by Michael Rymer, who is known for his work on the "Battlestar Galactica" TV series. The episode also featured main cast members Rachael Taylor as Patricia "Trish" Walker, Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse and Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth.

Erin Moriarty and Wil Traval also play main characters Hope Shlottman and Will Simpson, respectively, but they were not seen in "AKA Smile." The earlier was last seen in the "AKA 1,000 Cuts" episode while the latter was last seen in the "AKA I've Got the Blues" episode.

Recently, Traval talked about joining the cast of "Marvel's Jessica Jones." He previously played Sheriff of Nottingham in "Once Upon a Time" from 2013 to 2015 before joining the TV series created by Rosenberg for Netflix.

"I was thrilled beyond belief," Examiner quoted Traval as saying. He added that he had "the good fortune" of working with Rosenberg once before on the 2013 ABC drama "Red Widow" so he thought the "Marvel's Jessica Jones" project was in the bag when it came around.

According to Traval, all he had to do was audition and get the role and je was thrilled and excited because it was a comic book TV series. He said, "I was like this is a dream come true."

Meanwhile, Ritter and Colter are set to reprise their respective roles as Jessica Jones and Luke Cage in another Netflix series titled "The Defenders." It is yet to be confirmed if the upcoming series premieres before "Marvel's Jessica Jones" returns for a second season.
