“GTA 6” is Rockstar Games' rumored sequel to GTA 5 that will likely be released for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

New details about "Grand Theft Auto 6" were released, regarding the game's confusing release date, maps, improved storyline, possible lead character and "GTA 5's" brutal VR version.

After "Grand Theft Auto V's" remarkable success in the gaming industry, Rockstar Games is now ready to make some drastic improvements to its next "GTA" installment. One such change, according to rumors, is the idea of adding a new female protagonist to "GTA 6." Video game producer and Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser once claimed that having a female lead didn't feel right, but now, according to Neuro Gadget, Houser suggested the likelihood of having a female lead character in the future; however, the game producer did not directly mention that this drastic change will be applied to "GTA 6."

Although there are no confirmation yet from Rockstar about a female protagonist addition to "GTA 6," fans are expecting it to happen since every "GTA" series features much more than what its previous installments delivered. To further spice up the rumors, it is said that "Ghost Rider" star Eva Mendez will lend her voice as the "GTA 6's" female protagonist, while his real-life partner and "The Notebook" star Ryan Gosling will voice as the main character.

In addition to the rumors making rounds, instead of focusing on a single-person storyline, the upcoming "Grand Theft Auto VI" will be introducing numerous characters and protagonist. It is also rumored that the game will feature teleportation and bigger maps. Some say that the maps will feature the whole US, while some says "GTA 6" will just bring all the maps from the previous installments, such as Los Santos, Vice City and Liberty City. In terms of the teleportation feature, it is said that this element would be similar to "Need for Speed" 2015 game, N4BB reported.

Meanwhile, "GTA 6" release date confuses fans as some reports claim that "GTA's" next installment will be unveiled come late 2017 or early 2018; however, other reports also suggest that the release target date would be sometime 2019, to make sure that the game gets full Virtual Reality support.

On other "Grand Theft Auto" news, a developer named Joseph Delgado created "GTA V" mod (VR version). The said VR version of "Grand Theft Auto 5" is dubbed to be brutal and features disturbing gameplay that will leave one gamer guilty and utterly speechless after killing virtually.
