The latest details for "Captain America: Civil War" features the first appearance of Spider-Man, the film's runt time and War Machine's possible death.
Marvel Studios streamed the new movie trailer for "Captain America: Civil War" as the video features more actions scenes, heavy plot details and the appearance of another Marvel hero.
The trailer starts with a secret fortress near an arctic area where in Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans) investigates and discovers a hidden chamber where Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier is stationed. The next scene sees the Cap along with Avenger member Sam Wilson/The Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) viewing past footages of several attacks from the past Marvel films such as New York, Washington and Sokovia.
General Thaddeus Ross (William Hurt) is present at the scene telling the Avengers that public is afraid of them as a United Nations summit is attacked and Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) explains to Cap that they need to be "in line" to prevent more casualties much to Steve's chagrin. The next scene sees a chase scene between Winter Soldier, T'Challa/Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and Cap as Bucky fights Tony. James Rhodes/War Machine (Don Cheadle) is shot on his chest as Iron Man desperately helps his friend. Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) warns Tony to watch his back as both Avengers team, Team Iron Man and Team Captain America prepares for war and the battle takes place in an airport. The trailer ends with Tony calling out someone as Cap's shield was taken by Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), making his debut on the Marvel Cinematic Universe and an member of Team Iron Man.
With the viewers and netizens buzzing over Spider-Man's appearance in the new "Civil War" trailer, things look increasingly grimm for one Avenger member as War Machine could possibly be one of the characters to die in the film , Fansided reported. Rhodey's possible death in "Captain America: Civil War" could change the complexity of Stark's relationship with Cap and the rest of the Avengers, driving him to end the war between him and Steve and possibly getting revenge on Bucky, since it is hinted that he shot Rhodes.
Other rumored character deaths include Falcon and Scarlet Witch since Sam is Cap's closest friends and Wanda has been depict as a "wild card" in the movie.
Meanwhile, the full run time for "Captain America: Civil War" has been revealed. According to Event Cinemas, the run time for "Captain America: Civil War" is estimated to be at 146 minutes, which is about 2 hours and 26 mins. making it one of the longest Marvel Studios film in the MCU.
"Captain America: Civil War" will be released in cinemas on May 6, 2016.
