Stephen Amell is Oliver Queen in "Arrow."

"Arrow" has just been renewed for season 5.

According to TV Line, The CW boss Mark Pedowitz confirmed the news on Friday.

The exec also revealed that other shows, namely, "The Flash," "The Vampire Diaries," "The Originals," "Jane the Virgin," "DC's Legends of Tomorrow," "iZombie," "Supernatural," "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" and "The 100" have all been renewed.

Meanwhile, the upcoming 20th episode of "Arrow" season 4 will reportedly air on May 25. This will also serve as the show's finale episode for the season.

According to the spoiler site, the upcoming episode will see the death of at least one character.

There are speculations that either Laurel, Quentin Lance and Donna will be killed off.

According to multiple sources, photos from the set of "Arrow" season 4 are obviously pointing to the death of Laurel

Photos from the set showed Quentin with long and short hair. As such, it is believed that he will be featured in a series of flashbacks in the finale episode.

Some photos also revealed that Madison McLaughlin will be part of the final episode, and she will most likely play the role of a younger Laurel.

According to Movie Pilot, "Judging from the other actors on set for this scene, it looks very much like the scene will feature a list of characters we could only see for Lance's funeral."

Meanwhile, there are also some rumors that Oliver Queen's (Stephen Amell) sister Thea (Willa Holland) is definitely not the one to be killed off.

The actress was spotted on set of "Arrow" season 4, episode 20 which took place at the cemetery. Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) and John Diggle were also spotted on set.

In fact, even Nyssa Al Ghul will attend the funeral of one of the characters from "Arrow" season 4.

Nyssa's presence at the funeral seems to suggest that Laurel could be the one to be killed off. After all, the former only had a relationship with Laurel and her sister.

Also on set was Dinah Lance, which means that it's indeed possible that Laurel will be the one to die.

"Arrow" season 4 will air its 16th episode this month on The CW.
