'Persona 5' rumors: Sequel to launch on July for the PS4; New dungeons, 'Social Links' improvements tease!

Persona 5 is an upcoming JRPG being developed by Atlus for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 console.

New details for "Persona 5" will feature new dungeons, improvements on the "Social Links" and a possible release date on July for the PlayStation 4 console.

It seems that new details for "Persona 5's" release date for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 consoles has been revealed as previous reports stated that Atlus latest "Persona" sequel will launch on May this year. However, Atlus has not revealed any new information regarding its actual release date and gaming fans speculated that "Persona 5" will not be release until the end the last week of July, N4BB reported.

Reddit users from the "Persona 5" discussion rumors theorized that "Persona 5" will likely launch on July this year as other "Persona" titles came out in that month. Atlus promised gaming fans that "Persona 5" will indeed launch in the summer and May release date was theorized due to the fact that summer starts on the month May in Japan.

Anime retailer shop, Animate tweeted several photos of "Persona 5" merchandises around a store in Machida, Tokyo area. This gave Japanese gaming fans some clue that the sequel could indeed launch this year as Atlus promised.

In other news, new game details for "Persona 5" have been revealed as Atlus game director Katsura Hashino stated that the dungeons in the sequel will have impressive feel into the game as the dungeon designs for the sequel will be unique and different from the previous titles. Hashino teased that each dungeon will be different and "enjoyable" for the fans when they play the game, Siliconera reported

"Persona 5" will also feature improvements in the Social Link system as Atlus will have a different spin into it. The Social Links in the "Persona" games helps the main protagonist progress into the game by spending time with his friends/allies and unlock new abilities strengthening their bonds.

Hashino hopes to the new Social Links in "Persona 5" could make a huge step into the game in terms of human relations being better than that of previous titles. "Persona 5" will feature five individuals who re students by day and phantom thieves at night.

Joining the main protagonist are his friends and schoolmates Ryuji Sakammoto and Ann Takamaki followed by a mysterious artist Yusuke Kitagawa and Morgana, a talking cat. Hashino revealed that the main characters in "Persona 5" are often labeled, judge and are living in an unfortunate existence everyday. However, as players progressed into the game, they will see the characters rise up and breaking out of their miserable existence and be able to move forward with their lives.

"Persona 5" will be release in the summer 2016 in Japan and in the United States soon.
