"Descendants of the Sun" stars Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo shared a romantic kiss after the two confirmed their love for one another.

"Descendants of the Sun" star Joong-ki Song made a historical appearance on KBS 1TV's "News9." In the interview broadcasted live on March 30, Wednesday, the 30-year-old actor revealed that he had other aspirations in the past.

While it is no news that his popularity continues to soar, Song stunned the viewers by his revelation that he previously dream of becoming a news announcer.

"I've achieved another dream today," said Song. "Seeing much famous news anchors in person, and sitting here in this studio, it really feels like I've been able to live out another dream."

It is no news that the dating rumors between the actor and co-star Song Hye Kyo have been spreading like a wildfire in the online world. The South Korean actor then addresses the dating rumors, where he clarified that there is nothing going on between them. He included the possibility that the dating rumors start since there is a lot of love for the drama.

However, when asked whether he would prefer Kang Mo Yeon (Hye Kyo) or Yoon Myung Joo (Kim Ji Won), the army captain Yoo Shi-Jin (Joong-Ki) said that he would probably choose Dr. Mo-yeon since he worked with the 34-year-old actress the most. He cheekily added that if he did not respond as such, Mo-yeon will probably become sulky.

The show stars Joong-ki, Hye-Kyo, Ji-won and Jin Goo. It tells the love story between Captain Shi-Jin, who belongs to the UN peacekeeping troops, and Doctor Mo-Yeon. Due to the UN's request, they are stationed in an anecdotal war-torn country of Uruk, BBC News reported.

Ever since the first episode aired on Feb. 24, the Korean melodrama has been sweeping the number one spot with its steady increase in the rating, Soompi reported. Below is a promo video for the upcoming episode 11:
