As Episode 10 of "Descendants of the Sun" start to air on March 30, Wednesday, fans of the Korean drama can expect heart-stopping action as the show approaches its final airing.
According to Hancinema’s spoiler, Jin Yeong-soo, played by Jo Jae-yoon, would cause everyone to panic as he escapes with the diamond of Agus, played by David McInnis. He used a fake passport and dressed up to look like an Arab, but was caught while attempting to flee to South Korea and was brought to the police station.
However, Agus could not find the diamond because Jun swallowed the precious stone. Agus’s men tried to open up Jin, but Yoo Si-jin, played by Song Joong-ki, and Seo Dae-yeong, played by Jin Goo, attacked, causing Agus to run.
The two tied Jin at the hospital and asked if the diamond belongs to Agus, but Jin denies it although the X-ray showed the diamond was inside Jin’s stomach. Because of internal bleeding, Jin was coughing blood, so Kang Mo-yeon, played by Song Hye Kyo, performed surgery on Jin, assisted by Yoon Meong-joo, played by Kim Ji-won-I.
But Jin’s blood splattered on the two and infected them with what looks like M Virus, resulting in a lockdown of the operating room until they are sure what it is. Later results from the U.S. Army confirm that Yoon tested positive for the virus.
Although Song Joong-ki continues to be the main crowd-drawer for “Descendants of the Sun,” JKNUS noted that partner Song Hye Kyo also is instrumental in the 16-episode drama’s high ratings. After all, her past hits such as “Autumn in My Heart” in 2000, “All In” in 2003 and “Full House” in 2004 got more than 40 percent ratings.
Song Hye Kyo is 34 years old, but her career spans two decades since she started as a model and was winner of a school uniform model contest when she was 14.
