Capcom finally released a downloadable content for "Street Fighter 5." Some had criticized Capcom's move to release the latest installment of the "Street Fighter" series in such a short period of time. Perhaps the recent update that was provided by the game's developer will put an end to the critiques' negative comments.
According to reports, Capcom announced a week ago that it will provide four downloadable contents to the gamers this week in order to enhance the gameplay and add some features to "Street Fighter 5."
As of now, the recent update includes various single player challenges, plus a new character, named as Alex, that players can unlock for a hundred thousand fight money, Gamerant reported. Alex was available in "Street Fighter 3," but the latest installment reveals the character's absence. Maybe the production has decided to add him, along with the other missing characters, through a downloadable content.
In addition, the latest update also adds new costumes for numerous characters including Ken, Zangief, R. Mika, Nash, Alex (the latest addition to the game) and more. "Street Fighter 5" enthusiasts can buy the latest update from the in-game store.
Unlike other video games, "Street Fighter 5" has been released without a complete set of characters. This is the reason why some have criticized this action video game of Capcom. However, little did they know, this gamble of one of the biggest name in the gaming industry could be a part of its strategic marketing plan, because a month later after it made the game available to the market, it has unlocked new updates to gradually fill the game's blank pages. The latest DLCs are undoubtedly creating a loud buzz, which the company hopes to convert into profit.
Given this information, it is safe to say that Capcom will eventually release more DLCs to improve players' in-game experience. It is expected that in the following months, DLCs of new story arcs, scenes, characters will be added to keep the gamers' interested in the game.
