With every passing day there are new rumors related to Nintendo's upcoming gaming console dubbed as Nintendo NX. According to the latest round of rumors, the console will be more powerful compared to Sony's current-gen console PlayStation 4.

This is, however, not the first time that such claims have surfaced online. Earlier, several others have cited inside sources in Nintendo to claim that the Nintendo NX will be powerful than both Microsoft's Xbox One and Sony's PS4. With so many people asserting the same thing, it seems that there may be some truth in these claims, iDigital Times reported.

The latest leak claimed that the CPU, RAM and GPU of Nintendo NX will all be more impressive compared to the PS4, a NeoGAF user claimed citing a number of purported contacts and sources in the Japanese multinational consumer electronics and software firm. Interestingly, the user has also separated each of the rumors attributing to people who have said those.

In addition to the rumors relating to the Nintendo NX, the user has also claimed that Wii U games will be getting ported over to the upcoming console. While the user has named four games in this regard, two of them, "Super Smash Bros. 4" and the upcoming "Legend of Zelda" game, appear to be certain. The rumor relating to the "Zelda" game is also nothing new, so it can be assumed that this is also very likely. Moreover, it would be prudent for Nintendo to launch a new console with a new "Zelda" game on it.

In addition to these two games, the NeoGAF user has claimed that two massively successful games, "Super Mario Maker" and "Splatoon," may also come to the new Nintendo console. However, the user does not confirm anything regarding these two games, citing technical problems.

Meanwhile, another report claimed that Nintendo NX will also be more powerful than Xbox One, besides being to be easy to develop for as well as being optimized for gaming. Nevertheless, it does not specifically mention as to what the new controller will precisely be like. Perhaps, like in the case of Wii U, the upcoming console will also offer multiple ways to control a game - using the Pro controller, nunchucks, gamepad, or a 3DS for particular games.

As far as the release date is concerned, the report says that fans can expect the Nintendo by the end of the year. According to many, the console may be introduced at the E3 this year. Foxconn, which will be manufacturing the console, has already revealed that it will go into production this summer.
