For the fans needing a dose of "Attack on Titan," they may want to see various OVAs and spin-offs of the said popular series.

The release date of "Attack on Titan" season 2 is still unclear, and because of this, fans may need to divert their attention until season 2 of their favorite anime series airs on the small screen. For the fans needing a dose of "Attack on Titan," they may want to see various OVAs and spin-offs of the said popular series.

Since Levi is no doubt a mysterious character and a cool one indeed, a backstory dedicated for him, titled "A Choice With No Regrets," was created, Crunchy Roll has learned. The OVA will focus on Levi's life before he even joined the army and became the Levi that fans knew. It is said that this "Attack on Titan" OVA will show Levi's involvement with the Underground District, when he was still a member of a gang of thieves.

Aside from Levi's prequel, another OVA is also available titled "ILse's Notebook." The OVA is said to tell the story of Hanji, Levi and Erwin during an expedition outside the wall - when Haji attempts to defeat and catch a Titan without a casualty. The expedition will soon lead the team to Ilse Langner's dead body, and a journal which is said to be Langner's. The journal reveals her time serving the Survey Corps.

The shocking part of this OVA is that the journal also reveals that she found a talking Titan in the name of Ymir. For the fans of "Attack on Titan," Ymir is a familiar name, and that the Titan that Ilse's met in her final moments may be the same wacky Ymir in the original series, which is also rumored to be a Titan before.

Aside from OVAs, there is also a spin-off of the popular series "Attack on Titan"; however, it is not quite as serious as the original one. According to a separate report of Crunchy Roll, the spin-off, titled "Attack on Titan: Junior High," focuses on humor where the Titan is harmless and that it only steals the lunch of the child-version of the original cast members.

To sum it up, the "Attack on Titan" OVAs and Spin-Offs should keep fans preoccupied until the series' second installment arrives.
