"Attack on Titan" fans will have to wait further as Haijime Isayama, "Attack on Titan" manga creator, and Tetsuro Araki, "AOT" series director, has agreed to cease the production of season 2. Isayama and Araki had an agreement that the manga, also known as "Shingeki No Kyojin," should be ahead for 4 story arcs before season 2 begins. The manga is currently 2 story arcs ahead.
It was necessary for the management to push the deadline in order for "Attack on Titan" Season 2 to stick with the original story. Araki, the director of the series, may start "Attack on Titan" season 2 on schedule, but the quality of the series will be affected because filler episodes will definitely be inserted since the series is based on the manga of Isayama.

The hit Japanese anime took the world by storm when it was aired two years ago. The concept was fresh, unique and the story was fast paced, revealing secrets on every episode. The biggest surprise was its bold move to kill main characters, which is unusual for an anime. Despite that, the fans love everything about "Attack on Titan" that is why they may feel disappointment when they hear the latest news regarding another postponement of "Attack on Titan" Season 2.
On one hand, the biggest secret to be revealed on the next season is Eren Yeager's ability to be a Titan. Eren has been hiding his ability and it is about time Isayama shows "Attack on Titan" fans how Eren can turn into a Titan.
The upcoming season of "Attack on Titan" will also focused on Levi Ackerman's death. It is said that Levi will save the then new members of his squad - Eren Yaeger, Armin Arlert and Mikasa Ackerman - that led him to his death bed.
The good news is that "Attack on Titan" season 2 will still be released later this year.
