"Attack on Titan's" success has led to "AOT's" enthusiasts wanting for more. Good news for fans as the rumored to be release this year "Attack on Titan" Season 2 has finally entered to production.
It was previously reported by Yibada that "Attack on Titan" season 2 release was necessarily pushed back so that the anime director Tetsuro Araki could still stick to the manga's storyline; however, the director also noted that he can still go ahead with the production and scheduled release of the second season but the quality of the anime series will definitely affected, which will also have a negative impact to fans' expectations.
Now, Araki and "Attack on Titan" manga series author Hajime Isayama put a lot of consideration to fans who are clamoring details of "AOT's" second season that is why they have finally revealed updates about the TV series' production status.
Even though "Attack on Titan" anime director Araki admitted that adapting the manga series is not an easy thing to do, he also promised that he will work extra hard just to pull off and to well create the anime counterpart of Hajime Isayama's manga series.
"It's rare to adapt manga with a storyline that's this impressive, so I will be extra cautious. Whether it's season 1 or season 2, I'll be mentally prepared to face the production challenges," Araki said during an exclusive interview for Bessatsu Shōnen magazine's April edition.
Furthermore, Araki revealed that to put justice to Isayama's manga series, also known as "Shingeki No Kyojin," he has been in continuous discussion with the author about the "Attack on Titan's" plot and storylines.
According to an interview translated by Fuku Shuu, Araki revealed that he consulted Isayama regarding Sasha's speech, on whether she will speak using her common tongue or her mother tongue, on the upcoming TV anime's second season. However, whether Sasha will use her native tongue or common tongue, Araki feels that Sasha using two speech patterns will let viewers know and understand the character of the hunter from the 104th Training Corps.
Aside from Sasha's speech pattern, Araki and Isayama also discussed about Reiner's storyline, with him being an Armored Titan. Araki confessed that Reiner's storyline, which appeared in "Attack on Titan" manga series chapter 42, is still being developed, as the director is thinking on how Reiner's Titan character should be incorporated to the series. He said that he is working on to turn his Titan character into a very distinctive scene.
"Attack on Titan" season 2 director promised to not make mistakes and will deliver the second season far more better than the first one.
