The hit humor-suspense series "Scream Queens" is said to be back with an updated outfit, new love interets and a new attitude from the Kappa Kappa Tau leader, Chanel Oberlin, played by Emma Roberts.

As the production of the show set to begin soon, information about "Scream Queens" season 2 is leaking like a damaged faucet. One of the said details is the revelation of Jamie Lee Curtis, who plays Dean Cathy Munsch, that the original cast members will be back with an explosive entry in "Scream Queens" season 2.

Curtis exposed the said information during the recent PaleyFest, Variety reported. This should mean that fans do not need to worry about the departure of any of the original cast members, because they will definitely be back in the next installment.

Speaking of they, it is expected that the group of Emma Roberts in the series, the Channels, will be in "Scream Queens" season 2, including Glen Powell, Keke Palmer, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Billie Lourd and Niecy Nash.

It can be remembered that the season finale of "Scream Queens" season 1 was quite unfortunate for Chanel, as she was found guilty of murder and was sentenced for life in an asylum. "Scream Queens" season 1 finale episode also comes with the big revelation that Hester was the Red Devil.

On the other note, in her interview with the US Weekly, Roberts cited some changes in Chanel Oberlin next season. She also cited that there is a possibility for a new love interest in "Scream Queens" season 2, which could possibly be one of the medical practitioners in the asylum, given the fact that Chanel may stay for awhile in the said mental facility.

According to the co-creator of the series Brad Falchuk, he elaborated that "Scream Queens" season 2's hospital setup is based on the film "Halloween," which is said to be a classic horror movie. He also revealed that the mental institution will be headed by Munsch, and that this will be her new vocation.

As of the moment, the release date of "Scream Queens" season 2 is said to be in the later part of 2016.
