‘Scorpion’ Season 2 news updates: Finale episode may lead to Toby’s death? [VIDEO]; ‘Scorpion’ Season 3 to focus on Walter and Paige relationship

Now that the season finale of "Scorpion" season 2 is fast approaching, reports about what it will contain excites the fans. The finale episode, titled "Toby or Not Toby," will feature an ex-scorpion member who abducts Toby, thus, endangers the life of one of the show's protagonist.

The ex-team member is said to be Mark Collins, played by the actor Joshua Leonard. Collins is quite mentally unstable, and that he may accidently kill Toby with his rage. With that said, team Scorpion should be able to have a very good plan in order to rescue their friend while there is still time.

In accordance to "Scorpion" season 2 finale episode, its trailer confirms a fight between the genius minds, team scorpion versus Collins. In the trailer, the mental state of Mark has been shown to be crazier than ever, and Sylvester recognizes that. In the end, Mark allows Toby to make a final call to Happy, and then Mark said to Toby that he will face his death during that day.

On the other note, the showrunner of "Scorpion" season 2 Nicholas Wootton exposed some details in regards to the third installment of the series, Collider reported. He said during the event at Wonder Con that "Scorpion" season 3 will be a tough time for Walter, as the character will know what he can lose. He added that the upcoming season will also focus on the progress in the relationship of Walter and Paige.

The sadness that the team felt when Megan died will eventually fade off. Sylvester is also said to get over Megan's death easily in spite of his intimate relationship with the character. This is because Megan already taught him how to forget about her when the time comes.

Perhaps, fans should watch the season finale episode as it might be the last time that they would see Toby. "Scorpion" season 2 finale is said to air on April 25 on CBS.
