Here is the Android 6.0, 6.0.1 Marshmallow release update for Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016), A7 (2016), A9, Tab S2 8.0, S7 and Tab S2 9.7 on US Carriers.

According to a SamMobile report, the regional versions of Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) and Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) that were running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow has been certified by the WiFi Alliance. It means that the Android Marshmallow will reach users of Galaxy A7 and Galaxy A5 pretty soon.

Reports suggest that other Galaxy A models will also receive the newest update. According to tech experts,  the Samsung Galaxy A9 and Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) will get the Android 6.0 M update pretty soon. However, no exact date has been disclosed.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 and Samsung Galaxy A3 are strong enough to support Android M and they have above-average specifications that will make the most of features of Android Marshmallow. It means that the two Samsung smartphones surely are main candidates for the newest update.

Furthermore, the Android 6.0 update has been rolled out for the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7. The device was launched last year and has been running on Android Lollipop operating system since then.

The update will be released for the T815 model of the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7, upgrading it to T815XXU2BPD6. The rollout has begun in Germany for unlocked versions of the device and in particular parts of Italy.

Several reports indicate that the Android 6.0 M update will be made available in other European countries in the next few weeks.

Users who are in the United States and other regions can expect the Marshmallow update to be rolled out through their carriers.

The electronics company Samsung has begun pushing out the Android 6.0.1 update to the Tab S2 8.0 in the United Kingdom. The update brings the Android security patch and bumps the software version to T710XXU2CPD9.

According to reports, units with model number SM-T710 are at present getting the Android 6.0.1 update.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 was launched with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The mobile carrier Sprint made the Galaxy S7 available for purchase beginning from March 11.

The device was upgraded to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and some days ago, Sprint rolled out a software update for the device. The update has a build number G930PVPU2APD3 and weighs 142MB, Android Central reported.

The mobile carrier has not confirmed if the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge will receive the latest update in the coming days or not. However, reports suggest that users of Galaxy S7 Edge will get the update OTA.
