The famed author of the “A Song of Ice and Fire” fantasy novel series, George R.R. Martin, is going to pull another trick at the Worldcon 2016 this August.

Fans have long been anticipating the sixth installment of "A Song of Fire and Ice" book series, titled "The Winds of Winter"; however, it seems that the author of the book has not yet done with the novel, leading to speculations that fans of the book series may not be able to get hold of "Winds of Winter" until later this year.

It was reported that the supporters of "A Song of Fire and Ice," written by George R. R. Martin, were thrilled when the author made a chapter of "The Winds of Winter" available to the fans. Although the author said that he has not finished the book yet, he did tease the fans that more deaths will be included in the sixth installment of the book series.

According to Telegraph, Martin just recently posted a chapter of the sixth novel on his official blog. The chapter is said to be a glimpse only of what fans should expect in "Winds of Winter" novel.

In addition, reports claim that fans of the "Game of Thrones" may not get clues in the said chapter because Martin chose to reveal information relating to the daughter of Prince Doran Martell, Princess Arianne, which is said to have not been introduced in the book's TV adaption.

It is also said that it may not be a good idea to get clues of "Game of Thrones" Season 6 from its book counterpart because the TV series is known to have different story arcs from the books where the series was adapted from, Bustle has learned.

On the other hand, "Winds of Winter" author admitted that the novel may not be able to catch up with its TV version, and that the TV adaptation is moving quite fast than he has anticipated. Martin also added that some story arcs showed in the "Game of Thrones" may not happen in "Winds of Winter." However, Martin did clarify that the TV series may also have some scenes that may spoil some parts of the unpublished book.

Meanwhile, fans may expect for more death scenes in the "Winds of Winter" as Martin reportedly revealed that important characters of the series may face their end.

As of the moment, Martin has not confirmed the release date of the anticipated sixth installment of the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series, the "Winds of Winter."
