'Final Fantasy VII Remake' is an upcoming video game remake, developed and published by Square Enix, of the original 1997 PlayStation role-playing video game by Square.

It was relief to avid fans of the "Final Fantasy" franchise when Square Enix announced last year that "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" is happening. Rumors have been rife that fans may receive some information about the remake during the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016. However, this may not come to fruition since the game developer has not confirmed any of the rumors.

In fact, "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" and "Kingdom Hearts 3" were absent in the list of games that are supposed to come out between now and the end of the financial year. As a result, the much-awaited remake may not come out until sometime after March 2017.

Some of the games expected to release this year include "Rise of the tomb Raider" PS4 version, "Dues Ex: Mankind Divided," and "Final Fantasy XV." However, there is no news concerning the release date of "Final Fantasy 7 Remake."

There are possibilities that the game developer wanted to build up hype since that is how things work lately, according to Twinfinite. The rumor mill has allowed fandoms and sub-fandoms to grow and move fast, in addition to connecting people around the globe.

There is need for immediate information since the delay in announcing when "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" will be released will disillusion fans. Avid fans and gamers have been clamoring to read and hear any bit of information surrounding the game.

Fans were excited when they heard that the upcoming remake would go into the action-focused gameplay in the molds of "Dissidia Final Fantasy." "Final Fantasy 7" producer, Yoshinori Kitase, said that the developer has not yet moved into full combat mode for the next installment.

In an interview with Game Informer, Kitase said, "In terms of the image of the battle system, that's where we're getting the feel from. It won't be as action-focused as Dissidia, of course, but the visuals and how the gameplay feels in essence will be drawn from that Dissidia-esque style."

For now, fans should remain patient to get more information from Square Enix on when the remake will be released. Here is a sneak peek to have a glimpse of what "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" will look like when it finally releases.
