South Korean actor-model Kim Woo Bin poses for Vogue Girl Korea's January 2014 Issue.

Kim Woo Bin, who catapulted to international stardom with "The Heirs" as Choi Young Do in 2013, is reportedly in the Philippines. The Hallyu star's exact reason for the travel to Manila is not yet known, but local reports claimed that Kim is in the country for the filming of his new movie called "Master."

The exciting news broke out when a series of fan-taken photos of the 26-year-old actor strolling around the metro have been circulating on the web. On June 7, Tuesday, various fan groups of Kim have shared photos and videos of him spotted with an unknown companion in Greenbelt, Makati. Lucky fans who were close-by flocked to the location to snapped photos of the hot star and shortly posted them on social media.

It was then learned that Kim is in the country for the shooting of his comeback film, Korean Times reported. Speculations are rife that Kim is set to shoot the forthcoming film for around two-month in different locations in the Philippines, including Binondo, Intramuros, Bulacan, and Cebu.

Further, South Korean actor-model Bae Jungnam added fuel to the fire when he earlier posted a photograph on his Instagram account, showing him and Kim situated together on a plane with the caption: "work." Bae later posted photos of himself at Greenbelt.

Although in-depth details about the project are being kept lassoed tightly to the halter, it was learned that "Master" is an action-crime thriller about the nation's greatest fraud case and a ring of a white-collar Crimes Investigation Unit that is chasing them down. In the film, Kim plays Park Jang Gun, the brains behind Chairman Jin (Lee Byung Hun) and the Section Chief of ONE Network.

Kim's character is said to be Chairman Jin's faithful, right-hand man, but later conflicted between Police Kim Jae Myung (Kang Dong-Won) and Chairman Jin. The film is directed by Cho Ui-Seok, according to Korean Film Biz Zone.

Meanwhile, Kim will play the male lead, Shin Joon Young, in the upcoming KBS2's "Uncontrollably Fond" with Miss A's Suzy. The romantic comedy TV drama will premiere simultaneously in South Korea, Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and North America on July 6.
