Huawei MateBook will be released on July 11 in the United States and Canada.

After Chinese tech giant Huawei's MateBook unveiling on June 20 at the World Trade Center, the 2-in-1 tablet is expected to penetrate into the U.S. market in high-risk. Huawei Device USA announced that Huawei MateBook will be released on July 11 in the United States and Canada.

The division of Huawei Consumer Business Group particularly aims in getting their brand accessible and renowned on the American market, despite being the third largest smartphone maker and fifth biggest vendor of tablets in the world. Following Huawei's latest marketing stint is the release of 2-in-1 convertible Huawei MateBook that should impress U.S. consumers with its hybrid experience.

"Huawei MateBook has generated incredible excitement since its launch at Mobile World Congress and attracted rave reviews from technology enthusiasts around the world," said Vice President of Huawei Device USA Marketing Yanyan Ji. "MateBook combines the best of a tablet and laptop, and demonstrates the type of premium experience Huawei customers expect and Huawei is known for."

Despite the potential risks brought about by the "cheap and substandard quality" image that crippled the performance of Chinese products in the U.S., the Chinese tech giant carefully designed a total solution for consumers who crave for a device that should take the works of both PC and tablet.

According to PR Newswire, MateBook runs on Windows 10 and is powered by a 6th Generation Intel® CoreTM m-series processor, which takes advantage of the immense operations that consumers search on their processing unit. Huawei MateBook's sleek design and portable size, at just 640 grams and is 6.9 mm thin, allows users to be productive in any setting.

MateBook also features a staggering 12-inch touchscreen with a 2160 x 1440 resolution and 160-degree viewing angles. The high-density lithium-ion battery of MateBook is quickly charged via USB Type-C to provide enough power for up to nine hours of work. MateBook is also equipped with ultra-fast fingerprint sensor, taking only one touch to unlock the screen through Windows Hello.

The Chinese technology demonstrated on Matebook makes it an ideal mobile productivity tool that seamlessly bridges the gap between productivity and portability, while also promoting high efficiency, work and entertainment among its devices.

According to The Verge, pricing for Huawei MateBook starts at $699 for a Core M3 model with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and goes up to $1,199 for a Core M5 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage. A keyboard, stylus, and dock will be available for an additional $129, $59, and $89, respectively.
