The latest details for "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" will feature a Premiere's backstory, a new character, new gameplay and pre-order bonuses.
Bandai Namco Entertainment announced a new trailer of "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" revealing a little bit of information regarding the NPC named Premiere. The official description for Premiere describes her as a mysterious and emotionless girl and she has some sort of fixated stare on Kirito, warning him and his friends of an incoming danger in "Sword Art: Origin".
As seen in the trailer, the gamers as Kirito can have conversations with Premiere and they try court her around the Town of Beginning in order to get to know her better. Premiere is also seen with another new character name Genesis, who like Kirito is also nicknamed the "Black Knight" as both him and Kirito will fight each other during the game's plot and teases that the battle between the two "black knights" will save the world or destroy it.
Bandai Namco added new game features for "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" as gamers can now create a party from among the more than 300 available player characters and NPCs. In addition, gamers can also customize how they look from hair and skin color to weapons and armor, AnimeNewsNetwork reported.
Gamers can control other characters besides Kirito as popular "SAO" characters such as Asuna, Leafa, Sinon, Lisbeth,Silica, Strea, Philia, Klein and Agil. Players are given new sword skills and are able to perform "Switch" during battles against powerful monsters.
In addition, a new theme song for "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" titled "Windia" performed by Japanese pop singer Luna Haruna. There are also pre-order features for "SAO: Hollow Realization" as users who pre-ordered via the PlayStation Store will be able to play through some of the full version’s opening areas a week prior to its scheduled release and will receive a bonus costume, “Ancient Equipment Maid’s Clothes”, Gematsu reported.
There also free abec illustrated avatars for "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" in the PlayStation Store and cross saved support for the PS4 and PS Vita versions.
Bandai Namco will launch "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" on Oct. 27 for the PS4 and PS Vita in Japan as the limited edition of the game features a box art illustrated by abec, a soundtrack CD, special contents Blu-ray disc, extra package for the Blu-ray and CD, "Dengeki Nerve Gear vol.4" pamphlet, and mini clear posters. The western version will be out sometime in the fall 2016.
