The latest details for "Street Fighter 5" will feature the return of Balrog to the game's roster, new arenas and a first look at Juri and Urien in the sequel.
Capcom announced the fourth DLC fighter joining the growing roster of "Street Fighter 5" as boxing champion and Shadaloo henchmen Balrog has entered the game sporting a new look. The new game trailer showcases some of Balrog's new look along with a new arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Balrog will be a playable character in the new cinematic story mode which is scheduled to launch on July 1 along with Ibuki. Not only that, Balrog is also scheduled to be release in roster the same day as the cinematic story and Ibuki DLC, VG 24/7 reported.
According to the Capcom-Unity blog, Balrog is still working for Shadaloo as one of M.Bison's most trusted lieutenants alongside Vega and F.A.N.G. His play style is focused on delivering devastating punches and by the use of his V-Trigger he can chain these attacks to deal more serious damages. He also uses cheap tactics in fights in his favor in order to win.
Balrog's V-Skill is called "KKB", a unique move that twirls his body while moving forward. While activated, gamers can dodge projectiles as well as string together attacks. They can even activate KKB before a special hits them.
The V-Trigger is called "Crazy Rush" which makes Balrog a dangerous aggressor. When activated his body produces steam and allows gamers to string around special moves such as Charging Buffalo and Bursting Buffalo.
Balrog's finishing move is called "Gigaton Blow" which is very simple yet devastating finisher and gamers can use this to string together moves for a devastating combo.
In addition, Balrog will have two alternate costumes and another new arena called the Kanzuki Family Private Beach as Capcom plans to launch it during the summer season. Karin Kanzuki will also sport a new costume in her summer wear and it will launch on July 1 as well.
Lastly, screenshots of the last two DLC characters in "Street Fighter 5", Juri and Urien have been released online as they sport new outfits in the sequel. Capcom added that Daily Challenges will be retooled and optimized and it will be called "Targets". New single player modes including Extra Battle and Versus CPU are also in the works very soon.
"Street Fighter 5" is currently available for the PlayStation 4 and PC platforms.
