Embattled South Korean actor Park Yoochun is suffering the consequences of the sex scandals caused by the rape accusations filed by four different women. Although the Seoul Gangnam Police did not pursue the sexual assault charges because of the difficulty of proving force was used, the actor’s career is now at a standstill since he is still under investigation for solicitation of prostitution and fraud charges.

On Tuesday, C-JeS, the agency handling Park Yoochun, announced that he is excluded from the JYJ Membership Week to be held on Sept. 9-11 at the Coex Hall in Gangnam, Seoul. The only band members allowed to take part in the annual event are Kim Jaejoong and Kim Junsu.

But Movienewsguide pointed out that Park Yoochun is not the first South Korean actor accused of sexual assault. It cited Lee Min Ki and Lee Jin Wook as having gone through the same ordeal also and eventually cleared their names.

In February 2016, Lee Min Ki was accused of sexual assault by a woman he met at a club in Busan. On July 15, it was Lee Jin Wook’s turn to face similar charges made by his former girlfriend believed to have filed the lawsuit because the actor broke up with her. Because 12 days after the woman accused Lee Jin Wook, she admitted there was no sexual assault, the charges were dropped against the actor, while the accuser would likely be charged with libel.

Like what happened to the two actors, the entertainment website believes the same thing would also happen to Park Yoochun, including having to rest temporarily from his career.
