Microsoft forms its fourth group specializing in Artificial Intelligence.

After a long wait, Microsoft is finally rolling out its latest Windows 10's Anniversary update to smartphones. However, the Redmond giant is already discussing plans to introduce additional two updates to the OS next year.

The news came out in a blog post where Microsoft's Nathan Mercer wrote, "This will be our last feature update for 2016, with two additional feature updates expected in 2017."

Right now, there is no confirmation on the type of updates that are coming next year, but the rumor mill suggests that the next big update is likely to be codenamed "Redstone 2" that is expected to launch in early 2017 before Spring. There is possibility that the new update will coincide with hardware features of the Surface Book and Surface Pro devices.

Also, a second feature update to the Windows 10 that is likely to make its debut next year is speculated to arrive in the later part of 2017, The Verge reported. According to reports, the upcoming update will include latest internal builds that boast a range of 14900, which explicitly indicates that testers should be able to receive some features of Redstone 2 so that they can try it out and give their feedback, Engadget reported.

Windows 10 was launched with the name "Threshold 1" by the Redmond tech giant in June last year. "Threshold 2" was issued in five months later in November. Since Microsoft prefers to name its updates in chronological order, therefore, this week's "Redstone" update is likely to be codenamed Redstone 2 and 3, chronologically.

Redstone brings with it some of the most notable features for an enhanced experience of users. Go to Settings-Personalization-Lock Screen- Show Windows background picture as it appears on the sign in Windows. This allows to display a black screen on the sign-in screen of the phone.

In addition, Redstone brings with it enhanced Cortana improvements, according to which, users can easily complete a reminder by inputting time or date. According to Microsoft, Cortana can "retrieve reminders upon request, just like a real personal assistant would."

Bear this in mind that you can set a reminder on any Cortana-enabled device, such as, any Windows 10 PC with Android, iPhone or Windows 10 Mobile. The best part is that the reminder can be set on your phone from anywhere.
