'Kingdom Hearts 3' PS4 release date, updates: Late 2017 launching confirmed?

"Kingdom Hearts 3' is an action-RPG developed by Square Enix for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.

Several fans have speculated the most possible release date for "Kingdom Hearts 3" is late 2017.  This was after followers raised concern that there had not been any update regarding the game.

It can be recalled that an official trailer for "Kingdom Hearts 3" was released during the 2016 E3. Since then, the game has been highly anticipated again by fans. Unfortunately, the developer is not giving any details as of the moment. This has kept gamers totally clueless about its situation, with some even guessing the game will not be released until 2020.

In a discussion thread at Reddit, most users suggested it will be out late 2017 or early 2018. User keepurselfsafe justified the prediction saying Amazon already accepts pre-order for "Kingdom Hearts 3," but this was called out by another user who said it may just be a placeholder date.

Those who seem to be getting impatient with the release date information have said it may even be launched as late as 2020. But user Nyyo explained that basing on the previous release dates, "Kingdom Hearts 3" may likely be released next year.

Meanwhile, series creator, director and co-director of the said game have aired their thoughts on the much-awaited KH3. Creator and director Tetsuya Nomura emphasized the importance of "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" and "Kingdom Hearts 3D" to title of "KH3."

KH3 co-director also gave his opinion, saying the 2016 "Kingdom Hearts" games will help players understand the upcoming installment. Fans are expecting more information on "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be revealed once "KH 2.8" launches. "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" will be launching in December 2016.

On the other hand, some fans are expecting Kairi will become a playable character in the next installment. According to Mobile and Apps, long-time fans are really hopeful Princess Kairi becomes a fully playable character especially when "Kingdom Hearts 2" released a trailer where the princess was holding a keyblade.

When fans have realized the character was not still playable in the second installment, hopes are now high the princess can be played in the third installment, the report added. Since all of the information stated are simply speculations, readers are still advised to wait for the official announcement.
