"Gravity Rush 2" protagonist's origins will be revealed when the video game is launched. Tokyo Game Show visitors also got to see some of the characters of the game.
In a new trailer from TGS, which can be viewed below, it revealed clues about the origins of the game's protagonist Kat. The upcoming video game will finally cover her background story and how she got her ability to change her own gravity.
The upcoming game will have a feature where players can have three different styles in controlling gravity. They can choose from the original style from "Gravity Rush," Lunar, and Jupiter.
The Lunar style will make the protagonist lighter, which allows her to jump higher and move faster as well. The Jupiter style will make her heavier and gives her attacks more impact.
According to PlayStationLifeStyle, The new trailer showed a lot of the characters from the game. The characters that were shown were Kat the Gravity Shifter, Night Gale, Delta Team, Kali the Guardian Angel, and Durga the Angel of Destruction. It also includes the world of Hekseville, and a small tease for the world above it.
The trailer video description reads that Kat will meet another mind-bending adventure as a new danger emerges. She will now be accompanied by Raven at her side and she must master the three unique gravity attack styles. It also reads that she will fight off new enemies, and take on massive bosses in this new adventure.
Writer Ollie Barder wrote on Forbes that he is personally glad that there is a sequel to the popular PS Vita video game. The first game was launched back in 2012 and it gained a lot of praises from different critics. It has a remastered version now on the PlayStation 4 platform with upscaled graphics.
Writer Mat Smith wrote on Engadget and also attended the TGS event. He tried out the latest demo of the upcoming sequel and he felt that it is a bigger game in every way. He fought off familiar and new enemies alike, and also tried out the new abilities the protagonist will have.
