Kevin Garnett Buys 1,000 Tickets For To Give Away To Timberwolves Fans

Kevin Garnett wanted to thank the Timberwolves fans for the warm welcome and support that they gave him since he came back last month, he is back in Minnesota. In lieu to this, he purchased 1000 tickets to give away to the Wolves fans on Monday's game against Los Angeles Clippers.

Garnett, the 15-time All Star player, made the announcement on Sunday of the free NBA tickets to be given away via the team's official website on Monday morning. The first 500 fans to claim their ticket will get to bring another person to go with them and watch the game. Two seats per ticket claimed, according to Los Angeles Times.

The NBA Timberwolves star disclosed that the support he received was too overwhelming and nothing short of amazing and unbelievable.

The All Star player was stunned with the pleasant acceptance and as his token of appreciation he wanted to treat some 500 Wolves fans to the next game on Monday where Timberwolves plays against the Clippers. The exciting game is on him.

"As a gesture of thanks, I would like to treat some fans to Monday night's game against the Clippers. Love you all, and thanks for the love. Enjoy the game on me," he said in the statement, ESPN reported.

38-year old Garnett was reacquired by the Minnesota Timberwolves in a trade with the Brooklyn Nets on Feb. 19.  The first 12 seasons of his successful career was played in Minnesota before he was sent under the umbrella of Boston Celtics in 2007.
