"Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" actor Park Bo Gum is all smiles in an adorable photo with his co-star Kim Yoo Jung. In the ongoing KBS 2TV drama, the two Hallyu stars portray Crown Prince Lee Yeong and Hong Ra-On, respectively.
On Oct. 3, Monday, the 23-year-old actor took to Twitter to share an adorable set of four pictures. In the photos, Kim blissfully smiled at the camera, as the former peeked out from behind her.
The "Reply 1988" actor previously updated his official Twitter account with pictures from the "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" filming set, including a set of charming shots with B1A4's Jinyoung. He also shared a video with the "Angry Mom" actress expressing their gratitude to everyone for helping the historical drama break the 20 percent rating mark.
Despite its high viewership ratings, "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" will not be extended and will just air 18-episode as initially planned, according to a local newsoutlet News Nate, as cited by Soompi. It is said that KBS did discuss the possibility of extending the historical drama but decided not to.
"It's true that 'Moonlight Drawn By Clouds' was in talks to be extended by two episodes," a source from KBS said. "But the final decision is that there will be no extension and it will end with 18 episodes."
The news comes after it was reported that the musical rights to "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" have been sold to KBS Media, an auxiliary of KBS. The adaptation is the first musical ever produced by KBS Media, Korea's Inews24 reported.
According to the unnamed source, KBS Media is currently planning for the said musical production. Although KBS Media has been a drama production company, they hope to make a name in the musical industry with the adaptation of "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds."
