Scott Cawthon will reportedly be adding some new perks to “Five Night’s at Freddy’s: Sister Location” this November, all channeled through a planned free DLC.

The hit horror video game from Scott Cawthon, “Five Night’s at Freddy’s: Sister Location”, will be getting a bit of an upgrade this November with reports of new features arriving for free via DLC. Among the expected improvements include the Custom Night mode difficulty and the potential addition of new characters.

Custom Night mode may be familiar to players who have played the previous versions of “Five Night’s at Freddy’s”. Apparently, this was one feature left out but the upcoming patch should set things straight. With Custom Night mode, players can adjust the level of difficulty they can handle which should spice up things for the latest game installment according to Scottgames.com.

The latest patch for “Five Night’s at Freddy’s: Sister Location” will, of course, carry more than a left out feature from previous game installments. The word around is that there could be new game mechanics introduced for the game and new characters according to the Scott Cawthon Voices page.

Nothing has been made official, although a job listing may have hinted on things to come for “Five Night’s at Freddy’s: Sister Location”. The voice talent has been tied up to characters such as “Bidybab”, “Ballora” and “Funtime Freddy”, something which further supports rumors of more characters entering the fray.

Either way, the new add-on for “Five Night’s at Freddy’s: Sister Location” should be a welcome addition. Aside from being free, it should add more flavor to the mystery that surrounds the occurrences over at the Circus Baby’s Rentals and Entertainment.

Players take the role of “Mike”, a new employee who will be tasked to breathe new life to animatronics by electrifying them. Decision-making will play a pivotal role for gamers since they have to figure out on who to listen to – the AI or “Circus Baby”. The two offer contradicting instructions which may eventually prove the difference between survival and character death.

The Custom Night feature, once enabled, can be accessed through the ‘Extras’ menu. Only players with three-star rating completion will be able to access it depending on whether they are able to complete the game endings.
