‘Fifty Shades Darker’ news: Jamie Dornan will stay as Mr. Christian Grey

There have been speculations in the rumor mills that "Fifty Shades of Grey" lead actor Jamie Dornan will not portray Mr. Gray on the sequel "Fifty Shares Darker." Nevertheless, fresh news suggests that Dornan will still be the lead actor of the much awaited film.

It was noted before that there are chitchats about actor Jamie Dornan, who plays Christian Grey in the movie, getting replaced in "Fifty Shades Darker." Speculations have also added a conflict with co-star Dakota Johnson, who portrays the role Anastasia Steele, and with "Fifty Shades of Grey" author E.L James, Parent Herald learned.

There are also talks that Ian Somerhalder of "Vampire Diaries" might be Jamie Dornan's replacement to the role. It can be remembered that before Jamie Dornan was cast as Christian Grey, "Vampire Diaries" actor, Ian Somerhalder has uttered his desire to get the role of Christian Grey. Somerhalder was unlucky as the movie cast Charlie Hunnam to play Christian Grey in the "Fifty Shades Of Grey" movies.

Now, Jamie Dornan becomes vocal as he had spoken to stop all the stories of Ian Somerhalder replacing him in the upcoming "Fifty Shades Of Grey" movies. Based on his interview with Jimmy Kimmel last November 3, Dornan said that he already finished filming the next two installments, "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed".

Aside from the "Fifty Shades Darker", International Business Times reported that Jamie Dornan will star on the upcoming movie "Untogether". Also, photos from his first filming day were all over the wire. The images presented the actor wearing semi-casual attire. Dornan also grew his beard for the role of Nick. Another photo has showed the actor talking to a crew member. Jamie Dornan also wore an off-white long sleeve shirt while reading his script. And last among the pictures, he changed his attire before walking along the streets with an unknown woman.

For the "Fifty Shades" patrons the "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed" are scheduled to be on theaters in the United States on February 10, 2017 and February 9, 2018.
