Girls' Generation attended the 2011 Mnet Asian Music Awards at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Girls' Generation is officially the first K-pop group with three music videos garnering more than 150 million views on YouTube.

A report by Soompi revealed that Girls Generation's music video for "The Boys" recently hit 150 million views, while "I Got a Boy" and "Gee" both have 170 million views.

The South Korean entertainment news portal added that these songs are not new releases. "I Got a Boy" was released in 2013, "The Boys" in 2011 and "Gee" debuted in 2010.

The increasing numbers on YouTube show how these songs are still in demand. According to Soompi, this recent feat proves that "the group is still going strong".

In 2013, Girls' Generation won the inaugural Video of the Year award in the YouTube Music Awards for "I Got A Boy". The group beat big names in the western music industry such as Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and One Direction for this category.

Winning the said award has put the group and K-pop on the spotlight, according to Billboard. The Video of the Year award was based on the "the most loved, watched and shared music videos on YouTube over the last 12 months."

Billboard also interviewed Girls' Generation member Tiffany Hwang, who represented the group in YouTube Music Awards. She shared why "I Got a Boy" won the YouTube's Video of the Year award.

"The music [in "I Got a Boy"] was also so different from our past videos. It probably attracted both new and old audiences. It went together so well with trends, this is what everybody wanted -- something new, something raw, more different, more urban. And I guess it all came together at the same time."

The group also known as SNSD has not made any major promotions this year. However, they released a song "That Summer (0805)" in SM Station last Aug. 5 in celebration of their 9th anniversary.

According to allkpop, it was a song dedicated to Girls' Generation fans also known as Sones. "That Summer (0805)", revealed to be specially composed by member Sooyoung, conveys a message of gratitude to all Sones for their love and support for the group.

Girls' Generation members have also been busy with their respective solo careers recently.

The group's kid leader Taeyeon just dropped her new single "11:11". Meanwhile, members Yoona and Yuri star in their latest K-dramas. Yoona leads action drama "The K2", while Yuri stars in a short series "Gogh, the Starry Night".
