Park Shin Hye will soon appear in the upcoming SBS drama "Gogh, the Starry Night." The actress is set to join cast members Kim Young Kwang and Girls Generation group member Yuri in a special cameo role.

The upcoming SBS drama "Gogh, the Starry Night" will mark Park's quick return to Korean TV drama land. The "Doctors" actress will play the character of a convenience store worker during her cameo appearance.

A member of the SBS drama's production team told local reporters that Park agreed to participate in the said series to show her support for Kim and director Jo Soo Won, Korean news outlet OSEN quoted the representative as saying. Kim, Jo and Park previously worked together in the 2014 drama "Pinocchio."

Apart from Park, the upcoming SBS drama will also feature the cameo appearances of other celebrities. The director is planning to invite some of the actors and actresses that he previously worked with, according to the said production team member.

"Gogh, the Starry Night" features the story of Go Ho, a young woman working in an advertising firm. Portrayed by Girls Generation singer Yuri, Go Ho will find herself in a complicated relationship with five men including Kim's character.

Apart from Yuri and Kim, "Six Flying Dragons" star Lee Ji Hoon also joined the said production and will portray one of the five men set to approach Go Ho. Other cast members include Shin Jae Ha, Kim Ji Hoon and more. "Gogh, the Starry Night" is set to premiere on Oct. 22, Saturday.

In other news, Park has joined the Korean remake of a hit Chinese legal thriller film. Titled "Witness of Silence," the actress will play the role of a lawyer whose client witnessed a murder, according to the Korean publication Star News.
