Park Shin Hye served as the beauty brand Mamonde's special guest during the launch of the company's Flower Day event held in Malaysia. Around 2,000 fans came to see the "Doctors" actress as she attended a special fan event held at a shopping center.
The actress went on her first Malaysian trip to join the festivities of Mamonde's Flower Day program held on Oct 14, Friday. In a special event held at the shopping mall 1Utama's oval concourse area, Park shared her beauty secrets and her food adventures in the said Asian country.
The "Doctors" star highlighted the importance of hydration to keep skin healthy, New Straits Times quoted the actress as saying. Despite not following a strict beauty regimen, Park commented that keeping her skin moisturized is one of her daily "must-do" beauty treatments.
The "Pinocchio" star's efforts have paid off given the South Korean celebrity's numerous commercials and brand endorsements. She has also served as Mamonde's official promotional model since 2014.
Park also regaled the fans with stories of her food trip prior the event. Nasi lemak was one of the dishes that she tried during her Malaysian adventure. She even gushed over the various food selections and conveyed her enjoyment of the delicious dishes that she sampled.
After confessing to having received previous invitations from fans to visit the said Asian country, Park shared her appreciation for finally having the chance to meet her avid Malaysian followers. It appears that the actress is already looking forward to another visit, however, she did not share details of her upcoming trip.
In other news, Park will serve as FT Island band member Lee Hong Ki's first guest in his new radio program titled "Lee Hong Ki's Kiss The Radio." In a recent press conference held at Seoul's KBS Art Hall, the musician told local reporters of a promise that Park previously made. To convey her support, the actress promised to visit Lee during his radio program's first broadcast, Korea Herald quoted the singer as saying.
The FT Island musician explained that his close friendship with Park made the visit possible. The two Korean stars first met on the set of the hit 2009 drama "You're Beautiful." Park and Lee kept in touch with each other after the said project and eventually became close friends.
Lee's new radio program is set to air its first broadcast on Oct. 17, Monday at 10:00 pm KST. Meanwhile, watch a short clip of Park's performance in the SBS drama "Doctors."
