Arkane Studios has announced that a new update will be coming soon to fix the different issues plaguing "Dishonored 2" on PC. The current overall score on Steam is still mixed due to the numerous issues.

According to the official website of Bethesda, the game developer thanked everyone who has supported the video game until now. They were monitoring the PC forums and social media sites for feedback on the video game and they are excited to know that a lot of players were enjoying it. They are also depressed that many other players were having a hard time in playing it on PC due to the numerous performance issues.

The PC version of the video game has two specifically mentioned issues. One of them was the inconsistent framerates in it and the usually lags a bit when doing turns or sharp movements. The game studio has promised to address the concerns of the gamers and they are currently working on an update that will be available in the coming days.

The support group of Arkane Studios has given their feedback for "Dishonored 2," and they are using that to create a patch intended to give improvements. They are also encouraging the players to use the recommended settings posted on the website and the Steam Community Guides for a temporary fix, while they are making the patch.

According to the official website of Steam, the current overall score for the PC platform is mixed due to the many issues. Most of the negative reviews have an over 10 hours on record and they noted the bad framerates on high-end PCs.

Other players said that there are audio bugs in the video game. Aside from the poor optimization, they experienced audio that would cut all of a sudden in the middle of gameplay. The dialogue was also cut in the middle of a cutscene without warning.

The audio on dialogue and regular music were not the only parts that were suddenly cut at random. Sometimes, combat music and sound effects like hitting a blade on the wall would not play a sound all of a sudden. Other bugs also mentioned were a tank of whale oil suddenly explodes out of nowhere, and sleeping bodies suddenly flying back at the protagonist to kill him.
