The users of Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are receiving the Android 7.0 Nougat beta update. This update is only available to all the users who are part of the Samsung Galaxy Beta Program.

Android 7.0 Nougat beta includes the bug fix for the Facebook-crash issue. This is the fifth build till now of Android Nougat for the Samsung Galaxy Beta Program users.

This Android 7.0 Nougat beta update is packed with numerous patches to fix bugs. It is also programmed to do away with the Samsung Galaxy Notes app, which was introduced and installed in the Galaxy S7 device in the third build of the Android 7.0 Nougat beta update, according to Android Central.

Samsung's latest build is also responsible for deleting the Samsung Experience version on the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge devices. It also fixes the Wi-Fi connectivity issues that some users were facing, according to Android.

For all the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge users, this is not the final build of the Android 7.0 Nougat update. A few more builds will be subsequently rolled out before the global rollout of Android Nougat 7.0 can commence for all the users of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge devices.

The global rollout of the final release of Android 7.0 Nougat is expected to start by the end of January 2017. Countries such as Spain, Turkey, North America and Germany will be the first ones to receive the update. Later, the Android 7.0 Nougat update will start rolling out in other regions as well.

While downloading the beta update, users of the Samsung Galaxy Beta Program are recommended to do so only if their Samsung Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge device has adequate power. If the power levels are less than 50 percent, then the device needs to be plugged into a power source before starting the download process.

Users are also advised to start the download process only when they are on a secure Internet connection, preferably an unmetered Wi-Fi connection. The Android 7.0 Nougat beta can be downloaded on the mobile data plan but it may incur a lot of charges.
