Seungri, G-Dragon, TOP, Taeyang and Daesung of Big Bang perform on the stage during a concert at the K-Collection In Seoul on March 11, 2012 in Seoul, South Korea.

Kwon Ji-yong, 28, who is professionally known as G-Dragon, composes most of the songs of the K-Pop group Big Bang. Recently, he talked about the influence of American music videos to him and his bandmates namely Chou Seung-hyun, 29, Dong Young-bae, 28, Kang Dae-sung, 27, and Lee Seung-hyun, who are professionally known as T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri, respectively.

"We see Harlem streets in American music videos and we think it's really cool," G-Dragon told Korea Herald during an interview at the headquarters of Big Bang's label YG Entertainment in Seoul, South Korea. He acknowledged that these settings may feel commonplace to Korean viewers but it may feel "fresh and new" to foreign viewers.

K-Pop group debuted on Aug. 19, 2006. In February 2017, T.O.P is temporarily leaving the group to join the mandatory military service.

Before T.O.P's exit, Big Bang will have a farewell concert. It will be held on Jan. 7-8, 2017 in Seoul, South Korea.

Big bang will still have promotional activities for their "MADE The Full Album" on air and on stage before T.O.P's exit. The other Big Bang members who have all yet to fulfill their military service duties will enlist one after the other and it is only a matter of when, according to G-Dragon.

"This is very likely the last album that all five of us will make together for a long time," G-Dragon said of "MADE The Full Album," which was released on Dec. 12. He added that they tried to have fun with the most recent Big Bang album.

Meanwhile, the Big Bang leader is scheduled to perform with former 2NE1 leader CL at the upcoming 2016 SBS Award Festival Music Awards. A source told the same publication that the two will have a collaborative performance with YG producer Teddy along with "Show Me The Money 5" winner BewhY and underground trap artist Okasian.
