With just a couple of months away from its release, BioWare will once again shell out another teaser video for the sci-fi shooter - "Mass Effect: Andromeda." The developer even tweeted a 15-second clip from the trailer that will be shown this Jan. 26.
The short video provided a peek at the soon to be explored world dubbed as "Habitat 7" or "New Earth" as one of the game's character - Alec Ryder sees it. In the video, Alec can be heard saying that the planet could be called as such if they are fortunate enough.
The tweet also came with a caption stating that a new galaxy awaits them, though no one mentioned that it will welcome them. It looks like the new planet would not go easy with the game's brother-sister protagonists.
A bit of an info, the character Alec Ryder is also known as the human pathfinder that spearheads the Andromeda project. The character was voiced by actor Clancy Brown who took part in movies such as "The Highlander" and "The Shawshank Redemption." He is also known to voice Dr. Neo Cortex from the "Crash Bandicoot" game series and Mr. Krabs from "SpongeBob Squarepants," according to Gamespot.
Mass Effect's lead designer, Ian Frazier, also hinted about a new weapon that he devised. Frazier even coined it as "Big Pew Pew" stating that it came from scavenged alien technology.
EA Access members, on the other hand, will get to play "Andromeda" for a given amount of time come March 16. Players can try it out for 10 hours and the best thing about it is that players' saved gameplay will be carried onto the game itself once it is released, VG24/7 has learned.
Moreover, the game can be pre-loaded the following day at 6 p.m. U.K. time and 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET in North America. The game will be made available to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms on March 21.
