Xiaom's next flagship Mi 6 has been in rumors since a couple of months. According to a new leak shared by Weibo user @Reviewer_Well, the Xiaomi Mi 6 will be coming in two variants with the difference in display resolution.
Fresh information on Weibo indicates that the Xiaomi Mi 6 will be arriving in two variants. The lower variant will feature a 4 GB of RAM and a 32 GB internal storage. It is rumored to feature a full HD resolution of a 1920 x 1080 pixels. The higher variant of the Mi 6 will be available with a 4GB of RAM and a 64 GB storage. It will support a quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
The Mi 6 smartphone is expected to feature a 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX386 sensor. It will sport a 8-megapixel front facing camera and include Sony IMX268 lens.
There have been no intimation from the China-based company on the launch date of Mi 6 flagship phone. The device was previously said to get unveiled on Feb. 6. The date was later extended to go on sale in April, mainly because of the shortage in supplies of Snapdragon 835 SoC,Gizmo China reported.
It is learnt, that Xiaomi is working on the successor of Redmi 4. The device is likely to be called Redmi 4X or Redmi 5. Recently, two unknown Xiaomi Redmi smartphones received certification from TENAA China's regulatory authority. The devices are bearing model number MAE136 and MBE6A5 respectively.

According to TENAA listing, the device with a model number MAE136 will sport a 5-inch display with a HD resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is likely to include 1.4 GHz octa-core processor. The smartphone will be packed with a 3 GB of RAM and a 32 GB internal storage.
The phone with a model number MBE6A5 or Redmi 5 Plus is said to sport a 5.5-inch display with a full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is speculated to include a 2 GHz deca-core processor. The device will expected to come with a 3 GB of RAM and a 64 GB of internal storage.
Besides the specifications mentioned above, the other features are said to be common in both the devices. The phones are expected to come loaded with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. It is pegged to feature a 13-megapixel rear cameras with a 5-megapixel front facing cameras. The devices are said to include fingerprint sensor and support dual SIM. Both the phones will be equipped with a 4,000 mAh capacity batteries.
Xiaomi has not disclosed the launch date of its new devices, Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus. It is rumored to arrive soon in the China market, IBTimes reported.
