Street Fighter 5 is an upcoming fighting video game developed by Capcom for the PlayStation 4 and PC platform.

The latest details for "Street Fighter 5" will feature a fast loading time game mod and a possible crossover with the "Mortal Kombat" franchise.

Reddit username TOOLASSISTED created a mod for "Street Fighter 5" that tackles head-on the load times many others have claimed to be as “abysmal” and “atrocious,” so much that they view the waiting period one of the game’s largest issues that has affected its overall performance in sales and popularity.

The title of the video is called “SFV U LOAD FAST LOL,” and it begins by showing viewers just how fast players can go from character selection to actual matches, which is almost instantaneous and then quickly exit the game to choose another fighter and start over again.

Compared to "Street Fighter 5‘s" previous slow pace loading time that conjured up a less-than-optimal reputation for the game, TOOLASSISTED’s mod is unbelievably quick. TOOLASSISTED explained that to fix the game’s loading times, he just had to change a single value called Char Select UI from 60 FPS to 255 FPS, Attack of the Fanboy reported.

Meanwhile, it seems that Capcom's fighting franchise will headed to another crossover game with another popular fighting franchise as NetherRealm producer Ed Boon states that should Capcom approach him about a "Mortal Kombat" and "Street Fighter" crossover, he would ‘have to entertain’ the idea.

Both games are not new with the idea of crossover with other titles as "Street Fighter" has been featured in several crossover titles like "Street Fighter X Tekken", "Capcom vs. SNK" and "Marvel vs. Capcom" series, while "Mortal Kombat" had the "Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe" crossover.

it stands to reason that a "Street Fighter/Mortal Kombat" crossover could potentially happen in the future. However, the crossover will have alot of process to make in order to make it happen.

Boon told IGN that while gaming fans would undoubtedly love to see the crossover happend, he concedes that there is no way that would satisfy everybody given the contrasting tones of both franchises. Boon added that even if this hypothetical game was rated M and the studio is permitted to“tear Ryu’s head off” via fatality, a successful crossover would be difficult to make due to how differently both games play, saying that there’s different pacing, there’s different fundamentals with both games.

"Street Fighter 5" is currently available for the PlayStation 4 and PC platforms.
