"Shake It Off" singer Taylor Swift is reportedly ready for girl-versus-girl fight with the "Roar" hit maker Katy Perry in her upcoming video "Bad Blood."
The upcoming single has created immense curiosity much before its release among music lovers, thanks to the slew of posters uploaded by the singer featuring the show business' beauties in their never-seen-before bad-ass look.
It is said that Swift's upcoming video will be her answer to alleged rival for dissing her during the latter's last Super Bowl performance. The "1989" hit maker has reportedly poked fun and shouted out at Perry multiple times in "Bad Blood," which is set to premiere on May 17 at Billboard Music awards, Hollywood Life reported.
"There will be Katy Perry disses throughout the video and they are going to be related to Katy's Super Bowl performance," the publication quoted a source close to the singer. It seems that following its release, "Bad Blood" will trigger a renewed set of disses and heated social media exchanges among the leading ladies of the music world.
Also, Swift, whose character in the video is named Catastrophe, had hinted earlier in an interview given to Rolling Stone that her upcoming track is inspired by her strained relationship with another famous female artist.
"For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not," said the 25-year-old star, refusing to name the artist.
It appears now that Swift's "Bad Blood" video will feature a girl-versus-girl fight, with supermodel Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevingne, Gigi Hadid and rumoredly Selena Gomez at her side. The track's posters, released on social media, indicate that the video is reminiscent of the 2005 film "Sin City," whose lead actress, Jessica Alba, is also starring in it.
Other prominent stars to appear in the video are "Grey's Anatomy" star Ellen Pompeo, rapper Kendrick Lamar, Martha Hunt, Lena Dunham, Ellie Goulding, Mariska Hargitay and Zendaya.
