iOS 8.4 Jailbreak Download Now Available in TaiG Website

China's jailbreak team TaiG finally released the latest TaiG jailbreak tool v2.1.3. It now comes with support for Cydia apps. Till now, the Mac version of the tool is unavailable but with virtualization iOS 8.3 jailbreak can be performed on Mac OS X.

With IOS 8.4 update arriving on June 30, iDevices users may be considering whether they should perform iOS 8.3 jailbreak or upgrade to iOS 8.4. Here are top 5 reasons on why users should avoid iOS 8.3 jailbreak:

Unstable Performance

By jailbreaking iOS 8.3, users can install third-party Cydia apps on the device. However, it can also hamper the performance of the iOS devices leading to various problems such as random crashing or rebooting of OS and soft or hard bricking of the device, the International Business Times UK reported.

Voids Warranty

iOS 8.3 jailbreaking on iPhones and iPads that are covered under AppleCare service will end up losing hardware warranty. Moreover, the Cupertino giant will not provide technical support to devices that are jailbroken as they run modified version of iOS. However, before going to AppleCare, users may restore the iOS to its stock settings on a jailbroken iPhone or iPad to take advantage of the warranty service.

No iOS OTA Updates

After jailbreaking an iPhone or iPad, users will not be able to access official over-the-air (OTA) updates. Users can still install the official updates manually, but doing so will prevent users to benefit from jailbreak apps and tweaks.

Apple Music Inaccessible

The iOS 8.4 will be available for users from June 30. It will along with the new Apple Music live music streaming service, Phone Arena reported. Currently, it is unavailable for iOS 8.3 users.

Since the unreleased iOS 8.4 is not jailbreakable yet, users with jailbroken iOS 8.3 devices will be unable to enjoy third party apps on if they upgrade to iOS 8.4. Hence, users will either have to remain on the same OS version with no Apple Music or upgrade to iOS 8.4 with no jailbreaking capabilities.

No Support For Mac OS X

As of this writing, TaiG jailbreak tool v2.1.3 supports only Windows PC. The exclusive Mac OS X tool is not available at present. Mac OS X PC users can perform the jailbreak through a Windows Virtual Machine system. However, jailbreaking iPhone or iPad in this manner could result several instability problems.
