Blackberry prepares a new masterpiece for its fans, the Venice. The new device is the very first Blackberry to run on Android system. The leaked image shows a phone similar to an Android Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.
Evan Blass, who posted the image and well known for leaks of new phones, said that Blackberry's new handset will be launch on AT&T with a codename Venice. Blackberry said in an email that they remain committed to the Blackberry 10 operating system, which provides productivity and security benefits that nobody can match.
Blackberry 10 line device despite positive reviews before its launch in 2013 only got 1 percent share in the market. Blackberry's strategy this time is to allow the full version of Google's operating system, Chrome, Hangouts, Google Play Services, Google Maps, the search bar and Android buttons, Techno Buffalo reported.
Blackberry has attempted several times to revive itself after the failure of BB10 touch screen, many said that this new handset could be the company's last attempt to recover. John Chen, Blackberry chief executive, believes the company's new device management system. The BES12, which allows corporate and government clients, users may also enjoy the Android operating system, Microsoft Corp's Windows operating system and Apple's iOS platform, DailyMail reported.
The Blackberry Venice is rumored to be launched exclusively on AT&T on November this year. The company recently launched the popular Blackberry Messaging app using rivals operating systems, they also plan to offer more in-house features on rival's devices including Blackberry Hub and the predictive text capability of its virtual keyboard. BlackBerry looks to the brighter side to snag a niche in the touchscreen-dominated Android market.
