PlayStation Now has rolled out a major user interface update on PS4. The update was included in last week's PS4 software update, providing a lot of visual cues from the recently launched PS Vue TV service.

Sony's "Netflix for gaming" service launched back in January on PlayStation 4, and did not put any changes since then. The old interface of PS Now featured giant game tiles that only, letting the users see a few options when they started the service up, but the new UI features more information-dense view.

The app minimizes the menu fatigue for easier navigation of game titles. The app hopes that users find the game they want to play among the more than 125 games available for streaming with an ease, Engadget reported.

UI displays rows of big, splashy images for each game and a minimal amount of clutter surrounding them. users can see featured games on the top and the recently added titles right below. Scrolling down allows the users to check available games in each genre of games PS Now features, and scrolling horizontally will reveal all the games from chosen category.

PS Now has a touch of Netflix, simpler and more streamlined interface than before. UI has three parts: main grid view, a game's details, and the screen that pops when launching a game. The game detail part has interesting visuals and users can see huge artwork, nicely done blurred backgrounds and full screenshots.

The new PlayStation Now UI is now now available when launching the PS Now app in PS4. However, it will only let the users try to play the games if the are subscribed to the $19.99 monthly service, according to The Verge.
