With Bryan Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse" hitting the big screen in 2016, Twentieth Century Fox has released eight new photos, featuring some of the cast of the upcoming superhero film.

The new photos are in high resolution and they can be viewed in Comic Book

The first photo shows Jennifer Lawrence as Raven/Mystique, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, James McAvoy as young Charles Xavier/Professor X, Lucas Till as Alex Summers/Havok, and Nicholas Hoult as Hank McCoy/Beast in Xavier's Cerebro. The Cerebro is known to be used by the telepathic professor in locating other mutants and communicating with them.

The second photo features Alexandra Shipp as Ororo Monroe/Storm., who is standing next to presumably the titular supervillain Apocalypse. In Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse," Shipp's character is also one of Apocalypse's recruits, the Four Horsemen, who will help him execute his plan of massive destruction.

Another photo reveals Lawrence and Evan Peters, who is playing the speedster Peter/ Quicksilver. They are facing each other in the photo and it looks like they do not get along with each other. The fourth photo is a solo shot of newcomer Kodi Smit-McPhee as Kurt Wagner/ Nightcrawler, with the light putting emphasis on his character's face markings.

Newcomer Lara Condor as Jubilation Lee/Jubilee is featured in the fifth photo. The actress sports the mutant's iconic yellow jacket, along with her yellow earrings, pink lipstick, and pink-framed sunglasses. Michael Fassbender playing Erik Lensherr/ Magneto. It is noted that the actor has grown his beard in the upcoming film, in contrary to his beardless look in "X-Men: Days of Future Past."

The seventh image features Sophie Turner as Jean Grey. Turner's hair color in the photo is lighter than Famke Janssen's dark auburn and fiery red hair color in "X-Men: The Last Stand."

The last photo is a shot of Tye Sheridan as Scott Summers/Cyclops. The actor's hair is less wavy than what James Marsden had in the previous "X-Men" films. Also, his sunglasses' has wider frame and lens than Marsden's smaller frame and lens in "X-Men: The Last Stand."

Among the photos, there was no new photo that features Isaac, who is playing Apocalypse. According to Superhero Hype, the actor will undertake the various forms of the titular supervillain in the film.

Along with the aforementioned cast members, "X-Men: Apocalypse" also stars Hugh Jackman, Ben Hardy, Olivia Munn, and Josh Helman, among others.

Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse" is set to premiere in theaters in the United States on May 27, 2016.
