Paul Walker’s ‘Furious 7’ Co-Star Sung Kang, Greddy Racing To Restore 1973 Nissan 240Z Race Car For SEMA Show

Sung Kang and Ludacris co-starred in "Furious 7," the late Paul Walker's last "Fast & Furious" film.

Known for his role Han in the "Fast & Furious" film franchise, Sung Kang is collaborating with Greddy Racing to restore a 1973 Nissan 240Z race car for the SEMA Show, which will take place in las Vegas on Nov. 3-6.

Kang is building the 1973 Nissan 240Z race car to compete in several amateur racing circuits, according to 6Speed Online. The project is being chronicled in "Z Dream," a five-part documentary series set to premiere on FOX Sports Digital in October.

If it is the USDM Spec one, the stock 1973 Nissan 240Z race car came from the factory with an inline six-cylinder engine with a redline of 7000 RPM. It was capable of a 151 HP and 146 lb-ft of torque, according to Fansided.  

Power needs to be sorted out because the 1973 Nissan 240Z race car will debut at SEMA so Kang a swap from Nissan's lineup of engines, the RB26, which is a straight six.

Recently, Kang starred in "Furious 7," the last film of the late Paul Walker in the film franchise. It is yet to be confirmed if he will join Jason Statham, Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson in the 2017 sequel "Furious 8."

Meanwhile, Kang is set to star in the romantic drama "Pali Road" opposite Taiwanese actress Michelle Chen and Jackson Rathbone, who played Jasper Hale in the 2008 film "Twilight," the 2010 film "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" and the 2011 film "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn- Part 1" and the 2012 film "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn- Part 2."
