Xiaomi Mi5 and Xiaomi Mi Note are high-end devices from teh Chinese Company Xiaomi.

While speculations about Xiaomi Mi 5 are not yet official, there are already rumors about the release date of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and its specs. Latest leaks reveal that Xiaomi's first top-notch phablet may sport thin bezels and a fingerprint scanner.

A reliable source from the Chinese microblogging website Weibo, @Kjuma, shared a render on Saturday suspected to be the Mi Note 2. The render reveals that the Mi Note 2 will have a wide display with little or no bezel. As opposed to the original Mi Note, the upcoming Mi Note 2 may also possess a physical home button on its front panel, hosting a fingerprint scanner.

Together with the leaked render, there were rumored specs for the anticipated smartphone, Talk Android unveiled. The high-end phablet may sport a 5.7-inch Quad HD screen, 4GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB internal memory, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, a 3500mAh battery, and a 23MP rear camera and 12MP front camera for selfies. The upcoming Mi Note 2 will probably run on the company's latest MIUI 7 Android-based skin.

An important question raised so far is whether the rumors could coincide with the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 5 and not the Mi Note 2. It is also rumored that the Mi 5 will feature a fingerprint scanner and may run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.

However, it is suggested that the Mi 5 from Xiaomi may be announced on Sept. 24, which is a somehow too early to release a device running on the Snapdragon 820 that is yet to be officially unveiled, International Business Times reported.

Since there is no official confirmation from Xiaomi, the information concerning the upcoming Mi Note 2 and the Mi 5 remain mere speculation.
