'Batman V Superman' Spoilers: Zack Snyder Clears Out Robin Cast Rumors; Braniac For 'Justice League' Movie Villain? [VIDEOS]

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is an upcoming superhero film directed by Zack Snyder Starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Jesse Eisenberg and Gal Gadot.

New "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" details have been revealed regarding a possible villain for the"Justice League" film and Zack Snyder clearing out rumors about Robin's casting.

Robin's participation in the "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" has been the source of wild rumors and speculations as many believed that this version of Robin could be the Joker (Jared Leto) in DC Extended Universe.

Director Zack Snyder's son Eli was rumored to be cast as Robin in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" as he was featured in many of his father's movies such as "300" and "The Watchmen"; however, Snyder told Yahoo Movies that speculations on Robin's casting is all "wild guesses" and it is fun for people to speculate certain things that will likely sell to the public's opinion.

It was not long ago that "Boardwalk Empire" star Michael Shannon cleared out the rumors about his character, General Zod turning into Doomsday in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice", but teased that the Kryptonian monster will likely appear in the "Man of Steel" sequel.

It is not yet confirmed which version Robin has died in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" film, but fans speculate that this is Jason Todd, the second Boy Wonder and the current Red Hood, since the latter died at the hands of the Joker in the DC comics.

In other news, a popular DC villain has been rumored to headline as the main antagonist for the "Justice League" film.

Superman villain Braniac is likely the candidate in the "Justice League" film after the rumored "Man of Steel" sequel characters have spread throughout the internet, which features Supergirl and Bizarro. Birth By Movie Death writer Devin Fercacci commented on the Braniac rumors stating that it has been "scrapped" since he has been hearing many rumors and speculations about the "Justice League" film that ends with Braniac's name in the end, Screenrant reported.

Feracci added that the elements in the story have been "cannibalized" for eventual superhero team-ups, and that Warner Bros. will not make another Superman solo film until the DC Extended Universe is established properly.

"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be release in cinemas on March 25, 2016.
