‘Heroes Reborn’ Premiere Spoilers: Masi Oka As Hiro Nakamura Does Something Shocking?

"Heroes Reborn" is the continuation of the NBC sci-fi drama series "Heroes."

According to new "Heroes Reborn" spoilers, the new NBC series is going to do something the original sci-fi drama series "Heroes" never did. The upcoming 13-episode event miniseries is set to premiere on NBC on Sept. 24, Thursday.

The major characters of the original "Heroes" series during all of its four seasons from 2006 to 2010 are Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia), Claire Bennet (Hayden Panettiere), Nathan Petrelli (Adrian Pasdar), Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka) and Matt Parkman (Greg Grunberg).

In the "Heroes" continuation, something very shocking will go down in the "Heroes Reborn" premiere and it will involve an original character, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The "Heroes Reborn" premiere titled "Brave new World" is directed by David Semel, who directed several episodes of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Dawson's Creek." It is followed by episode 2 titled "Odessa," which is directed by Greg Beeman who also executive produced "Heroes" from 2007 to 2009.

The main cast of "Heroes Reborn" involves Jack Coleman, Gatlin Green, Ryan Guzman, Robbie Kay, Rya Kihlstedt, Zachary Levi, Judith Shekoni, Kiki Sukezane, Danika Yarosh and Henry Zebrowski.

In "Heroes Reborn," the characters played by Kay, Shekoni and Levi are ordinary people who discover that they have superpowers.

The "Heroes Reborn" guest stars include Dylan Bruce, Nazneen Contractor, Francesca Eastwood, Noah Gray-Cabey, Greg Grunberg, Eve Harlow, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Aislinn Paul, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Christine Rose, Greta Onieogou and Pruitt Taylor Vince.

Oka is also among the guest stars of "Heroes Reborn." It is yet to be confirmed if it is his character Hiro Nakamura who will be involved in something shocking in the premiere episode.

It may also be Panettiere's character Claire Bennet, who is one of the victims of the huge explosion on the fateful day of June 13 in "Heroes Reborn" season 1 episode 1 "Brave new World," San Francisco Chronicle has learned.
