Marvel has unveiled the first look at the villain Lash, who will be making his live-action debut in the Season 3 of Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."

The photo of the Inhuman Lash can be viewed in Comic Book. The villain is in the outpatient laboratory sleep disorder center and he is looking at something. The photo's setting is dark that the villain's entirety could not be seen, so it is assumed that the villain's incarnation in the series would be a surprise.

According to Marvel's official website, Lash is set to be an obstacle to the Agents in the upcoming third season of the television series. Nevertheless, the villain's primary mission remains a unknown and is yet to be found out by the series' protagonists.

Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." star Chloe Bennet, who plays Inhuman Daisy "Quake" Johnson, shared her thoughts on Lash's debut. In her interview with Comic Book, Bennet said that Lash was shocking and crazy.

Lash is capable of converting energy from different sources and discharging it from his palms. In addition, the villain can manipulate energy and force, which allows him to disintegrate anything, including living creatures. Aside from offense, Lash also uses the energy as a form of defense by turning it into an energy shield.

Matthew Willig is playing Lash's role. The actor is known for his roles in Harold Ramis' adventure comedy film "Year One," Rawson Marshall Thurber's action comedy "We're the Millers," Frank Merle's "The Employer," and Simon West's action crime " Wild Card."

Along with his role in Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," Willig is set to appear in Jared Cohn's action horror film "The Horde," Sean Carter's horror thriller "Home Invasion," Peter Landesman's sports drama "Concussion," and Youssef Delara's romance "The Bounce Back."

Marvel's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." airs at 9 p.m. on the ABC Television Network.
