Which Iconic Characters Will Be Featured In The Next Update of Mortal Kombat X DLC Pack 2?

Mortal Kombat X DLC Pack 2 is speculated to feature some iconic characters when the update is released in 2016. Ever since Ed Boon, the co-creator of the popular video game, confirmed the launch of more DLC's, speculations have been running rampant. However, NetherRealm Studios is yet to reveal the names of the fighters for the second DLC. Read on for more details.

Over a month ago, Ed Boon made the big announcement about the Mortal Kombat X DLC Pack 2 on Twitter. He shared the news with a picture captioned: "Here is the official announcement of new downloadable content coming for Mortal Kombat X."

According to PlayStation Universe, Smoke, Spawn and Baraka are most likely to be unveiled as the new playable characters in the Mortal Kombat X DLC Pack 2. For those unfamiliar, Smoke happens to be a well-loved character from the ninth instalment of the series. He first appeared in the game released in 1993.

Spawn is another speculated character to be featured as one of the fighters in Mortal Kombat X second DLC Update. It is reported Todd McFarlane, the creator of the character, has given Warner Brothers the permission to use Spawn in the game. However, the offer is valid only for limited time period.

Baraka, the fighter who has been a part of Mortal Kombat series since 1993, could be another character introduced in DLC Pack 2 releasing soon. Some other characters speculated to be a part of the new update are Bo Rai Cho, Alien, Sindel, Noob Saibot and Fujin.

Meanwhile, based on a recent Twitter post by Boon, Realty Today is speculating that the next update might bring Drahmin and Havik as Mortal Kombat X playable characters. "We can't feel our face when we're with you! And we hate it. And we hate it," Boon wrote on his Twitter account along with the picture of Drahmin and Havik.

Fans must note that the reports lack confirmation from the authorities. Thus it is advised to take the information with a grain of salt.

Mortal Kombat X DLC Pack 2 is expected to release in the beginning of the year 2016. However, specific details is yet to be announced.
