NetherRealm Studios revealed that the rumored "Kombat Pack 2" for "Mortal Kombat X" will likely launch on the early months of 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms, Venture Capital Post reported. Game creator Ed Boon teased that "Kombat Pack 2" will contain only four playable fighters similar to the first "Kombat Pack" DLC.
Many gaming fans have speculated that "Klassic" Mortal Kombat characters like Night Wolf, Baraka, Sindel, Smoke, Bo'Rai Cho, Sektor, Cyrax, Fujin, Noob Saibot and Kabal are added in the new DLC since these mentioned names were seen in the game's main storyline, but they are not playable fighters.
There are also a list of possible guest characters which include, Spawn, Terminator, Ghost Face, Michael Meyers, Alien, Indiana Jones, Ash Williams, Marcus Fenix, Neo, The Joker and Rorschach, Realty Today reported.
The first Kombat Pack DLC had four playable characters: Tanya, Tremor, Jason Voorhees and the Predator. The DLC also contained additional costumes for several characters like Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Sonya Blade, Johnny Cage, Kano etc.
Boon added that "Kombat Pack 2" will likely receive a unique set of features for "Mortal Kombat X" such as bring back classic game levels from previous titles as "The Pit" has been heavily rumored to be included in the DLC. The Mortal Kombat creator also teased a new game mode called "Jurassic Mode" which will feature dinosaurs killing each other in "Mortal Kombat X".
Waner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced that "Mortal Kombat X" recently sold more than five million units worldwide along with "Batman: Arkham Knight".
